How is it Formed
Crackle quartz is formed when silica-rich fluids cool and crystallize within cracks or fissures in other rocks. The fluid may be hot magma, hydrothermal solutions, or metamorphic fluids. As the liquid cools, it precipitates minerals within the cracks and forms crackle quartz.
